About the team:
The Capital Markets, Accounting advisory and Structuring team advises clients on the accounting, company law and capital markets issues in the context of both transactions (including M&A, listings and debt raises) and in the ordinary course of business (including finance transformation, regulatory change and internal restructures).
Our breadth of experience across different industries and different transactions allows us to guide senior clients and their stakeholders navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment.
What your days will look like:
- As a Senior Associate within CMAS, you'll work with clients across a range of industries, combining technical accounting expertise, commercial insight and problem-solving skills to help businesses navigate complex transactions, transformation programmes and strategic change.
- Deliver advisory services across Structuring and Accounting Advisory, CMAS Digital and Deal Advisory projects, supporting clients through key business and financial decisions.
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders to provide technical accounting, structuring and capital markets advice across a variety of industries and transaction types.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across PwC, including specialists from Deals, Tax and other service lines, to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Analyse complex business challenges, develop practical recommendations and help clients implement solutions that drive value and support strategic objectives.
- Build strong relationships with partners, directors and client teams while contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to support clients further.
- Coach and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and helping to deliver high-quality outcomes within agile, collaborative project teams.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience of IFRS (and preferably UK GAAP and/or US GAAP)
- Must possess a ACA Qualification (or an international equivalent)
- A keen interest in transactions and transformation
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
- Intellectual curiosity with a willingness to challenge yourself and learn new skills, including working in unfamiliar industries/environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare high quality reports such as accounting memorandums and technical analysis;
- Good project management skills and an ability to manage time to deliver effectively on multiple engagements simultaneously
