In this role, you will leverage your ACA or equivalent qualifications to develop and deliver sophisticated financial models and analytics that reveal the core strengths of businesses, supporting strategic decision-making and enhancing investor confidence.

What you'll do:

You'll be at the heart of our team, crafting and delivering analyses that change the game for our clients. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Building three statement financial models to evaluate various financial plans and scenarios, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Developing modelling and analytics that reveal the core strengths of a business to its leaders or potential investors, boosting their confidence in the deal.
  • Translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear insights for our non-technical stakeholders, aiding in sound decision-making.
  • Understanding what makes a business tick and creating data-driven tools and/or models that empower management to make informed decisions and enhance business value.
  • Enhancing investor and financier understanding by contributing to clear, KPI-focused forecasts that reflect key business sensitivities.
  • Strengthening negotiation positions with in-depth analysis of past financial performance, projecting cash flow and profit trends.
  • Working with management to develop commercial insights to improve business performance after a deal process.
  • Preparing businesses for future transactions by establishing essential KPIs and reporting frameworks.
  • Engaging in business development to spot and research new opportunities with current or potential clients.

Your commercial and financial acumen will be key as you delve into business drivers, analyse data, and provide transparent, actionable insights to our clients.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • ACA or ACCA or international equivalent is essential.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring, with a drive to develop and empower your team. Self-motivation and a love for learning.
  • For financial modelling: Advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in data visualisation tools like Power BI, or data tools like Alteryx or Power Query would be beneficial. The ability to navigate complex financial and operational issues and solve unique business challenges.
