About the role

The Technology team within M&A Operations is fast-growing and supportive, working on a wide range of client engagements. We often work on high profile deals with top tier firms across the deals cycle, from pre-deal diligence, synergy development and separation planning through Day 1 and on into implementation support. We routinely collaborate with PwC’s wider team practice (Strategy consulting and Financial Due Diligence) as part of our go to market.

We comprise both career-consultants and individuals with experience gained in industry and actively seek diversity of experience in our new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT strategy assessments and operating model reviews, providing recommendations to improve technology effectiveness and business alignment.
  • Analyse business applications, IT landscapes and operational processes to identify efficiencies, cost reduction opportunities and performance improvements.
  • Develop, maintain and evaluate IT financial models, budgets and business cases, including scenario analysis and capital expenditure planning.
  • Support IT projects and transformation initiatives by contributing to planning, costing, solution design and implementation activities.
  • Assess enterprise technology and data architectures, identifying risks, issues and opportunities to optimise business and technology outcomes.
  • Produce clear, insight-driven reports, presentations and board-level materials, translating complex technical and financial information into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
