Email Designer Birmingham | Hybrid Working (3 days office based) C40K
We’re partnering with an established consumer brand to find a talented Email Designer who can bring creativity, commercial thinking, and strong visual execution to a growing CRM function. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced business where email plays a major role in customer engagement, retention, and brand storytelling. The successful candidate will take ownership of the creative direction and production of email communications, helping shape how the brand connects with its audience on a daily basis.
You’ll work across campaign launches, automated journeys, promotional activity, and customer lifecycle communications - creating emails that not only look exceptional but also deliver measurable performance.
What You’ll Be Doing Designing engaging, conversion-focused email campaigns across promotional and lifecycle activity Building and evolving reusable templates and modular design systems Creating responsive email experiences optimised for mobile and desktop Working closely with CRM, marketing, brand, and content teams to deliver campaigns at pace Supporting testing initiatives to improve click-through rates, engagement, and customer retention Ensuring consistency across all email touchpoints while continually bringing fresh creative ideas Helping develop customer journeys that feel connected, premium, and highly personalised QA testing and refining designs across multiple inbox providers and devices

What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a dedicated email design role within a consumer-focused brand A portfolio showcasing strong digital design and email campaign work Strong understanding of responsive email design and UX best practice Experience using platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Dotdigital, or similar ESPs Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite Someone highly organised who can manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously A collaborative individual who enjoys working closely with wider creative and marketing teams
