Job Title: CRM & Email Marketing Executive
Salary: From £30k DOE
Location: Remote, but willing to travel to our HO in Northampton when required
Type: Full Time / 37.5 hours per week / 9.00am-5.30pm / Monday to Friday.

The Role
Designing customer journeys and appropriate segmentation, planning key messages with relevant supporting teams (Client Engagement, B2B Marketing, Client Relations), you will be one of the key contributors to successful lead conversion and therefore to the growth agenda of Bright Horizons. Your success will be measured by shifts in key conversion metrics.
You will equally be championing and advocating a customer-centric and data-led approach across the wider Work+Family and Marketing teams.
Working closely with the Customer Experience Manager, you will help support the ongoing development of our marketing automation capability within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, identifying opportunities to enhance customer journeys, personalisation, channel utilisation and campaign effectiveness.
Responsible For
- On-time delivery of email campaigns across B2B and B2E channels, ensuring deadlines are adhered to
- Managing the building of emails from templates using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, selecting segments and scheduling sends
- Effective use of dynamic content, segmentation, personalisation and template libraries
- Supporting the creation, testing and optimisation of automated customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Managing data uploads, creating audience segments and testing all campaigns across brands
- Producing regular reporting and campaign performance analysis, providing recommendations to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Supporting the ongoing development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, including journeys, dynamic content, personalisation and emerging channels such as SMS and social integrations
- Understanding and applying email deliverability best practice, while staying abreast of digital marketing and marketing automation trends
- Analysing campaign performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through A/B testing, subject line testing, segmentation and journey optimisation
- Producing ad hoc reports and insights using Excel and other reporting tools as required
- Working closely with the creative team to ensure brand guidelines are met and copy aligns with Bright Horizons' tone of voice

Essential Qualifications / Experience
- At least one year's experience in a similar role
- Experience building and deploying email campaigns using a marketing automation platform (ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and make recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite
- Able to work collaboratively and effectively within a cross-functional team
Desirable Qualifications / Experience
- Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience building customer journeys and automated campaigns
- Experience using dynamic content and audience segmentation
- Experience with SMS or multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Experience using Pardot, Google Analytics and Microsoft Dynamics
- Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and marketing automation best practice
