About the role
Merge is looking for a freelance email marketer or a small agency to partner with us on an ongoing basis to run our newsletter and email marketing. We have a recurring need for consistent, well-executed email sends — the volume and cadence vary month to month depending on our GTM and content calendar, and we want one reliable partner we can keep coming back to, rather than one-off hires per campaign.
About Merge
Merge is a licensed financial institution building regulated stablecoin payment infrastructure, operating across London and Paris. We build the fiat/stablecoin boundary layer for banks, financial institutions, and multinational corporates, and are backed by Coinbase Ventures, Octopus Ventures, Hashed, and Ethereal Ventures.
What we need help with
- Building and sending our recurring newsletter in Mailchimp, on a set cadence
- Formatting and laying out content we provide (copy, links, visuals) into clean, on-brand email templates
- List management and segmentation (e.g. prospects vs. clients vs. investors, by vertical or region)
- Basic performance tracking — open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribes — with a short recap after each send
- Light copyediting and subject line suggestions to improve engagement
- Ongoing template maintenance/improvement in Mailchimp as our brand and content evolve

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
