Email Marketing Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist based in the United Kingdom.
Join a dynamic retention marketing team focused on creating impactful customer communication strategies across multiple digital channels. In this role, you will design, optimize, and scale CRM campaigns that improve engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value. You will work with modern marketing automation platforms, build personalized customer journeys, and collaborate closely with product, analytics, design, and technology teams. The position offers the opportunity to combine creativity, data-driven decision-making, and technical expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes. Accountabilities
- Develop, launch, and optimize omnichannel CRM communication strategies across Email, SMS, Push Notifications, In-App, On-site messaging, and other customer engagement channels.
- Build and maintain customer journeys, lifecycle campaigns, and automated trigger-based communication flows.
- Manage CRM platforms and marketing automation tools to create scalable and personalized customer experiences.
- Segment audiences, configure automation rules, and improve campaign effectiveness through data-driven optimization.
- Prepare campaign content requirements, create email templates, and adapt communications across different channels and devices.
- Monitor and analyze CRM performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, retention, lifetime value, and deliverability.
- Conduct A/B testing and continuously improve campaign performance through experimentation and insights.
- Optimize sender reputation, deliverability processes, and subscriber database health.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver effective customer communication solutions.
- Maintain documentation, reporting processes, and CRM marketing best practices.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with direct communication platforms including Email, SMS, Web Push, On-site, and In-App notifications.
- Strong practical knowledge of CRM automation platforms such as Customer.io, Smartico, Fast Track, Braze, Iterable, or similar solutions.
- Experience building lifecycle marketing campaigns, trigger-based scenarios, mass campaigns, segmentation strategies, and personalized communication flows.
- Proficiency in email marketing practices, including campaign optimization, dynamic content, and template management.
- Experience working with design and email production tools such as Figma and Stripo.
- Understanding of email development technologies, including HTML/CSS, MJML, and AMP for Email.
- Knowledge of email deliverability principles, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain warming, and sender reputation management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience measuring campaign performance through metrics such as OR, CTR, conversion rates, deliverability, and A/B testing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate insights clearly.
- Experience in iGaming, customer retention, or high-volume digital products is a plus.
- Familiarity with Smartico or Fast Track platforms is considered an advantage.
