Embedded Software Engineer Now Needed In Bristol To Join Well Established Company In Industrial Sector

I am seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with 4+ years of Embedded C / Baremetal programming expertise to design and develop embedded firmware for industrial tools and their related interface and communication systems.

  • Comms protocols – SPI, CAN, RS485
  • Debugging expertise using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers
  • Experience of using source-code control systems such as Git
  • Good appreciation for electronics design
  • Experience in developing multithreaded and/or multi-process embedded systems
  • UML
  • Knowledge of ARM and/or Microchip dsPIC architectures
  • Scripting language such as Python
  • RTOS expertise
