Senior Embedded Systems Engineer Needed in Gloucestershire
The Senior Embedded Systems Engineer will lead and participate in all phases of the development of electronics systems including requirements capture, design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and the design and development of embedded software.
Requirements
Applicants need a relevant degree and a demonstrable interest in a broad range of technologies and software. This should include at least 10 years in firmware/embedded C development. In addition to strong Embedded development expertise with a range of microcontrollers (STM32, PIC32) you should also be skilled in PCB schematics capture and schematic reviews and have experience in developing PCB layouts using Altium (or similar). Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, knowledge of standard communication protocols (I2C, SPI, etc), familiarity with RTOS and baremetal programming and competence with oscilloscopes / spectrum analysers is also required.
