Test Technician/Engineer Opportunity in Malvern
Element have an exciting opportunity in Malvern for a Test Technician/Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. This position will enable you to become an accomplished engineer proficient in performing a wide range of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests covering an expansive range of products and applications.
This is an opportunity to work with an incredibly diverse range of new and innovative products, and to play an integral role in making tomorrow safer than today. As a member of the team, you would perform a vital role that would include:
- Conduct EMC and Radio Frequency (RF) tests within Anechoic Chambers using a variety of test equipment including, EMI Test Receivers, Spectrum Analysers and Oscilloscopes
- Performing testing to applicable standards or test plans, whilst accurately documenting the testing process and outcome
- Understanding customer test plans and how to properly follow laboratory technical procedures and test specifications
- Setup test equipment and follow written specifications necessary for the accurate performance of the test
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and test equipment
- Interact with customers during the testing process, periodically assist with troubleshooting and improvement modifications

To be successful in your application for this role you will require:
- A background and / or interest in electronics or engineering
- Experience of Commercial, Automotive and / or Military EMC Testing would be preferable
