For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakable about each one of them.
We are currently seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join our Global Tax team. This newly created role will have responsibility for providing EMEA VAT support across the Jellycat business in leading and executing on VAT focused projects (such as process improvement, compliance and systems), and delivering on our global tax strategy.
This role will require collaboration with business teams across Jellycat, dealing with cross-border indirect tax matters and omni-channel transactions (e.g. wholesale, e-commerce). The nature of our business is primarily goods, and therefore, indirect tax knowledge and experience in this area is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
