Looking to swap client service for genuine commercial influence?
This is an opportunity to move beyond advising clients and become the trusted tax adviser to a major international business.
You'll take ownership of a significant and complex Consumer Lines portfolio across EMEA, partnering directly with senior stakeholders to shape commercial decisions before they're made. From launching new products and entering new markets to negotiating contracts and navigating changing tax legislation, you'll be the person the business turns to when the answer matters.
This isn't a role where you'll sit in the background reviewing returns. It's about being at the table, influencing decisions and providing commercially astute indirect tax advice that enables the business to grow while remaining compliant across multiple European jurisdictions. The opportunity is based on the uploaded role profile and your additional brief.
The Opportunity
Reporting to a highly supportive Senior Manager, you'll lead all indirect tax matters relating to the Consumer Lines business whilst also becoming involved in a wide variety of strategic EMEA tax projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
