EMEA Marketing Segment Manager - Cardio & Thoracic

What You Can Expect

As a Marketing Segment Manager you would be responsible for structuring and executing marketing plans according to the company’s objectives as well as advancing support activities. Within this job, you will provide marketing strategic support across EMEA and will work in close cooperation with broader commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment and commercial execution of marketing tactics, that’s alongside the supervision and establishment of training calendar and educational programs for direct and indirect sales force.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Contribute to developing and focusing the EMEA Cardio and Thoracic Segment Strategy
  • Lead the commercialisation of the Zimmer Biomet Segment portfolio in the EMEA market
  • Support Product/Marketing Managers and Commercial teams in sharing product expertise
  • Design the promotional and communications mix with digital marketing communication partners and agencies for core EMEA strategic brands
  • Closely collaborate with Zimmer Biomet Institute (ZBI) to set-up a comprehensive medical education program to train and educate surgical professionals on the safe and effective use of focused brands
  • Create product training and development programs for internal staff in collaboration with the Zimmer Biomet Sales Academy and Internal Sales Training team.
  • Co-ordinate the NPI plan for the EMEA region
  • Keep abreast of the portfolio strength and identify gaps short and long term
  • Help identifying expert surgeons to be suggested for corporate activities
  • Coach and support in-country sales and marketing teams and local commercial leads across the region to execute the delivery plans for EMEA segment strategy, and to enable them to achieve their respective revenue
  • Create alignment with the other EMEA segments to drive cross-selling opportunities
  • Responsible for EMEA key congresses

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Profound technical knowledge of the Cardio & Thoracic segment
  • Ability to apply key industry trends to the development and/or enhancement of Zimmer Biomet’s footprint in EMEA
  • Strong skills in launching new products, developing and promoting successful product strategy
  • Critical thinking and strategic skills necessary to effectively execute deliverables and identify and drive potential up sale opportunities
  • Understands the importance of being proactive as well as reacting quickly
  • Able to build credibility quickly with people at all levels of the organisation including Senior Management alongside external stakeholders
  • Fast learner, can work independently and manage complex projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Your Background

  • Experience in development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics
  • Educated to University Level - Graduate with a bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience
  • High levels of experience in healthcare consulting within the Medical Device industry.
  • Experience with selling and implementing strategies on a national/international basis within the healthcare environment is a must.

Travel Expectations

This role requires significant regional travel up to 50%
