EMEA Operations Director – Crucial Leadership Role

Our client, a leading provider of FM (Facilities Management), Workplace, and Project Management Services across the corporate sector, is seeking an experienced and commercially focused EMEA Operations Director. Serving brands in finance, technology, professional services, and pharma, this role will lead operational excellence across multiple countries and business units while driving business growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional operations strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Lead and inspire multi-country operational teams across EMEA.
  • Drive continuous improvement programmes, operational excellence, and process standardisation.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of service quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and enhance KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with commercial, finance, HR, and Executive Teams to support growth and market expansion.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage regional budgets, resource planning, and operational forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to local legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies across territories.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.

About You

We are looking for a senior operations leader with:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Director, Regional Director, or Head of Operations in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM).
  • Negotiated £50M+ P&L with strong commercial acuity.
  • Extensive experience delivering broad IFM services across complex environments.
  • Proven track record managing multi-site and multi-country EMEA operations.
  • Ability to balance operational efficiency with business growth.
  • Experience leading teams through transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder and Executive influence at both regional and Board level.
  • Operational budget management expertise with measurable performance improvements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Relevant experience in outsourced services sectors at a senior level.
