Senior Payroll Coordinator (EMEA) – Fixed Term (18 Months)
Role Overview
This fixed-term contract position (18 months) is available in NVIDIA’s Munich/Wueresislen, Germany Office or Reading, UK Office as part of the Global Payroll team. Reporting to the Head of International Payroll (UK), you’ll collaborate with Finance and HR Departments to ensure seamless payroll operations across EMEA, including:
- Day-to-day payroll compliance and tax remittances
- Special projects, including EMEA Payroll Implementation and business process improvements
- HR coordination for new hires, benefits, and inductions
- Confidential handling of sensitive data with strict adherence to ethical standards
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations & Compliance
- Implement Global Payroll System across 23+ European payrolls
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely payroll processing, including:
- Payroll tax filings with authorities
- Secure remittance and employee payments via banking partners
- Coordination with pension & health insurers, including registrations and employee documentation
- Oversee payroll reconciliation, stock-based compensation, and month-end accounting reports
- Partner with Finance (India/UK teams) to maintain monthly journals, reconciliations, and balance sheet accuracy

Employee Support & Stakeholder Relations
- Conduct payroll inductions for international new hires/transfers
- Respond to employee inquiries with promptly and provide education where needed
- Coordinate with HR, payroll suppliers, auditors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance
- Maintain all payroll records and files
Project & System Implementation
- Assist in specialised payroll projects (e.g., system migrations, process enhancements)
- Repair process bottlenecks through data validation, stakeholder collaboration, and workflow optimisation
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Payroll Certification (e.g., CPP, NPP, CIPD – any equivalent recognised credential)
- 8+ years of extensive payroll experience, including:
- Global/local payroll in EMEA/non-US markets
- International tax regimes and stock-based compensation
- Proven expertise in payroll systems, compliance frameworks, and data security
- Fluency in English (written/verbal)
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros; Word/PowerPoint/Outlook)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities
Desired (a plus in your application):
- Experience in Finance/Accounting (e.g., month-end close procedures)
- Specialisation in benefits/pensions or expat taxation
