Overview
We are looking for an experienced Workday Manager to play a pivotal role in the continued rollout and optimisation of Workday HCM across the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme, working closely with HR, Technology, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class Workday experience across multiple countries.
As a Workday expert, you will bring a broad understanding of the Workday HCM ecosystem, combining subject matter expertise with implementation experience gained through global or multi-country deployments. You will act as a trusted SME, helping to drive adoption, ensure system integrity, and support the delivery of new functionality as Workday continues to evolve across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, rollout, and optimisation of Workday across EMEA.
- Support M&A’s by driving system onboarding of new countries and entities into Workday HCM, integrating with payroll and Workday financials.
- Manage a HR Systems Analyst to support HR systems and analytics.
- Design a M&A systems playbook to onboard new companies into our existing Workday ecosystem, and expansion into new countries.
- Oversee configuration and maintain Workday modules, business processes, security, and reporting capabilities in partnership with our North American Workday HCM COE.
- Partner with global HR, HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Support the design and execution of new Workday functionality, enhancements, and releases.
- Ensure system configuration aligns with global standards while accommodating local and regional business requirements.
- Provide expertise across core Workday functionality, including HCM and associated modules.
- Collaborate with implementation partners and internal project teams during deployment phases.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to maximise Workday capabilities.
- Support testing activities, including system integration testing, UAT, and post-deployment validation.
- Ensure maintenance of system documentation, configuration workbooks, and operational procedures.
- Act as a key point of contact for Workday-related escalations and complex issue resolution.
- Stay informed of Workday releases and recommend enhancements that improve user experience and business outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
