Apple’s worldwide Retail Engagement, Marketing and Merchandising (REMM) team creates and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives, and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, buy, and go further with Apple products and services. These efforts increase awareness, drive conversion, and grow affinity for Apple.

As part of WW REMM, the Merchandising team inspires customers to discover, learn about, and buy Apple products, services, and accessories through merchandising that delivers a personalized experience like no other. The Geo Merchandising team’s mission is to execute, localize and optimize the WW strategy in the region, ensuring the maximum relevance of Apple campaigns and developing bespoke strategies to support local cultural moments.

Description

At the heart of our customer experience, Visual Merchandising showcases Hero products, Services, and Accessories through thoughtfully curated displays and demos. The Visual Merchandiser role brings a focused point of view to every store, executing unique Apple experiences with precision and care, in close collaboration with cross-functional and store teams, to deliver the highest standards for every customer.

  • Create, maintain, and publish store layouts and detailed product planograms for product launches and merchandising resets
  • Partner with Worldwide and Geo counterparts to ensure global alignment across merchandising strategies
  • Leverage extensive Geo and visual expertise to influence global strategy while localizing to AMR-specific nuances where appropriate
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience through field feedback, observation, and performance and space analysis
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate product launches and effectively communicate the product visual merchandising strategy
  • Forecast and communicate accurate demo product and visual element counts for merchandising changes, ensuring the correct demo products are available in every store in partnership with Retail Fulfillment Operations
  • Develop and review store communications including reset labor hours, merchandising setup guides, merchandising standards, and strategy guides

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in visual merchandising, design or marketing experiences in retail or technology industries
  • Action-oriented with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with the ability to independently lead and meet objectives
  • Able to drive the big picture, overarching mission, and business drivers while seamlessly moving to tactical, detailed execution
  • Strong planning and time management skills with a future-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to influence, build rapport, and develop business relationships with partners at all levels
  • Strong cross-functional agility with the ability to work effectively in a global organization, keeping work streams on deadline while continuously improving strategies and processes
  • Strong process management and technical learning with proven ability for systems management
  • Retail and design experience in delivering commercial results through compelling visual merchandising
  • Demonstrates passion for putting the customer first and crafting unique customer experiences within a retail environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled partnership experience with senior management and the ability to collaborate with diverse technical and creative teams
  • Project management and process improvement experience a plus
  • Demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity
  • BA/BS degree, MBA a plus
