Emergency Care Assistant

Bristol Ambulance (Part of EMED Group) have a fantastic opportunity for dedicated Emergency Care Assistant to join our team based in Launceston, Cornwall.
As a Emergency Care Assistant (ECA), you’ll play a vital role in supporting the retrieval and safe transport of patients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing throughout the journey. You’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with skilled clinicians to deliver high quality patient care.
This role follows a unique 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, offering genuine work life balance.
To be eligible, you must hold:
- C1 driving licence
- Blue light qualification

- Competitive salary of £29,331.12 per annum
- Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (08:30-20:30 x2 & 20:30-08:30 x2)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Physical fitness to assist patients with mobility needs
- Ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained and thoroughly checked
Do you have what it takes?
- C1 driving licence and blue light qualification (essential)
- You hold a valid UK manual driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, (6 points maximum)
- You are able to work a flexible shift pattern which consists of days and nights (08:30-20:30/20:30-08:30)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Physical fitness to assist patients with mobility needs
