Emergency Control Room Operator
Pinnacle Group is looking for an Emergency Control Room Operator to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites and play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based at Carrington, Manchester M31.

Role Overview
Your role will involve monitoring CCTV and life safety systems, conducting regular CCTV patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
This is a Permanent Role working an average of 42 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, working 4 on 4 off - 2-day and 2-night shifts 6am -6pm / 6pm -6am rolling rota. There is also a shift allowance of £217 per month, and overtime is available, which is paid at x1.5 rate.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet visitors, staff, and contractors and manage the control room environment.
- CCTV monitoring and patrols.
- Ongoing communication with the security officers on site providing guidance and direction, relaying any response requirements.
- Act as a key member of the incident management team, working closely with the safety team leaders.
- Monitor and respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services in the event of an emergency.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities and occurrences.
- Operating a telephone switchboard and the use of client software in the control room.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence
- Valid CCTV Licence
- Access to own transport due to location
- Must hold a UK Manual Driver's Licence due to driving company vehicles
- Strong, clear communicator, as you will be using Radio Control
- Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet
- Full 5-year UK checkable work history
