We're looking for a highly organised, resilient, and professional Receptionist to join our busy Emergency Department team at Yeovil District Hospital.
As the first point of contact for patients, relatives, and visitors, you'll play a vital role in ensuring people receive a welcoming and efficient service during what can often be a stressful time.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence working under pressure and adapting to changing demands
- Compassion and professionalism when dealing with difficult, upsetting, or emotionally challenging situations

The Role Will Involve
- Greeting and booking in patients
- Managing telephone enquiries and administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the Emergency Department team to deliver outstanding patient care
- Working calmly and efficiently during busy periods
