Job DescriptionPlease note, this role is based 5 days a week onsite at our Shirebrook HQSupporting the HR Business Partners through the provision of generalist, proactive support on a range of employee relations issuesProviding an efficient service for employees requiring guidance, help and advice in respect of Company policies and procedures and Employment legislationCreating a positive employee relations approach; supporting, coaching and upskilling Managers to fulfil their people management responsibilitiesProviding operational support and advice on employee relations matters; such as disciplinary, grievance, appeals. Supporting with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE when necessary. Proactively dealing with absence management; assisting with the identification and resolution of problematic cases and long-term sickness issues, monitoring KPIs and trends to propose preventive measures Managing an allocated employee relations case loadAssisting the team to support departments/teams through organisational change and embedding new structures and processes where requiredMaintain employment legislation knowledge to provide sound guidance and expertise to management.Working with the Management team to drive performance on key people metricsQualificationsProven track record in a similar ER/HR roleExperience of handling ER cases including disciplinary and grievance, appeals, absence management and redundancyUp to date knowledge of employment legislation including GDPRHigh level of discretion and confidentialityResilient, flexible, assertive, and confident in approachEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesAbility to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workloadExcellent stakeholder, people and change management skillsGood analytical and systems skillsCustomer focused approachProblem solving ability in a fast-paced businessAdditional InformationAlong with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:Frasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work. Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
