Employee Relations Advisor

We are looking to speak with immediately available HR/ER Advisors for a 6-month FTC with a utilities business in Leeds. Reporting into the Employee Relations Manager, you'll provide expert advice and guidance across a wide range of employee relations matters, helping managers confidently navigate complex people issues while ensuring employment legislation and best practice are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Employee Relations Manager, supporting the delivery of the organisation's employee relations strategy.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability, and flexible working.
• Manage a varied employee relations caseload from initial enquiry through to resolution, ensuring cases are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation.
• Coach and support managers to build confidence in managing employee issues and applying HR policies.
• Attend formal meetings where required, advising on process and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes and best practice.
• Analyse employee relations trends and produce reports and management information to support informed decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an excellent people service and drive continuous improvement.
