About the Role
Salary: £32-38k + Company Bonus, Private Health Care, PHI, Life Assurance, Annual Leave Purchase & more
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – ideally based within a commutable distance to Avidity Group’s Glasgow head office

We are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys:
- Partnering with managers
- Navigating people matters
- Helping cultivate positive colleague experiences
The role involves providing expert advice ensuring people decisions are fair, consistent, and aligned with business needs. You’ll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and managers while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and adhering to company policies.

- Providing first-line HR (HE) expert advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters
- Managing and supporting a broad range of employee relations cases end-to-end
- Coaching leaders through people challenges that balance colleague experience with business needs
- Supporting formal processes, investigations, and required administration/documentation
- Ensuring HR policies and practices are applied consistently and compliantly, including updates and documentation
- Leveraging people insights to support better business decisions
- Working closely with stakeholders both internally and externally across all business levels.
Requirements
We seek a detail-oriented professional who brings both experience and enthusiasm to this role. You should possess:
- Previous experience in an Employee Relations, HR Advisor, or HR Business Partner (HRBP) support role
- Strong experience in managing a broad range of ER cases from start to finish
- Experience advising and coaching managers on people issues and employment legislation
- Experience supporting people processes throughout the employee lifecycle
- Knowledge of UK employment law, with workplace experience in the Republic of Ireland (ROI) being advantageous
- Familiarity with fast-paced, commercially driven environments
