Employee Relations Advisor - Parental Leave Cover

Employee Relations Advisor (12-Month Parental Leave Cover)

About the Role

At Aston Martin, our people are the heart of everything we do. The Employee Relations team is instrumental in shaping a fair, consistent, and supportive workplace, and we’re seeking a hands-on Employee Relations Advisor to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract—covering parental leave—reporting to the Employee Relations Manager.

This vital and rewarding role involves supporting all aspects of employee relations, providing practical, people-focused advice and contributing to the holistic success of our proud, global brand.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor in all employee relations matters, delivering expertise to drive a positive workplace。 You’ll:

  • Provide clear, actionable advice to managers and employees on disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and HR queries
  • Lead and manage ER cases end-to-end, including investigations and complex issues, and escalate concerns escalation to senior stakeholders
  • Coach managers to build confidence in handling ER situations independently, whilst ensuring robust process standards
  • Support in policy development, rollout, and compliance with employment legislation, ensuring long-term workplace consistency
  • Prepare dashboards and reports, contribute to ER projects and training, and refine data-driven insights
  • Cultivate strong relationships across HR, legal, Trade Unions, and business leaders to foster collaboration and consistency

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
