Job Title: Temporary Employee Relations Advisor
We are currently working with a leading regional employer who are looking to appoint a temporary Employee Relations Advisor on an initial two month basis, due to start as soon as possible.
Role Details
- Location: Liverpool
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days WFH)
- Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)
- Pay Rate: £25.26 per hour via an umbrella company
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert employee relations and HR policy advice and guidance to a range of customers and stakeholders
- Manage a range of employee relations cases and projects in compliance with employment legislation and Council policies
- Handle a personal caseload of employee relations cases and projects including, but not limited to, investigations, sickness, discipline, grievance, performance, redeployment, flexible working, and retirement within prescribed timescales and in accordance with the relevant employment policies, guidance, and legislation
- Administer HR processes such as fixed term contract extensions and terminations, honoraria, FOIs/DSARs, and post amendments in accordance with relevant legislation and/or policy
- Provide advice, guidance, and training on all employment matters, ensuring HR policies, guidance, and processes are adhered to and used correctly
- Maintain accurate case management records producing high quality data analysis and reporting to support the delivery of HR objectives
- Conduct exit interviews where required and analyze and provide feedback on exit data

Experience Required
- CIPD or extensive HR experience
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks relating to HR management and employee relations
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
- Proven experience of managing a varied employee relations caseload in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed timescales
