Role: Meta Global Employee Relations Business Partner

If you have deep expertise in Employee Relations (EMEA), experience handling complex matters like performance management, conflict resolution, complaints, and redundancy processes, and a passion for driving long-term strategic improvements in a global organisation, we want you to thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a portfolio of high-stakes Employee Relations (ER) matters, including:
- Performance cases
- Investigations
- Disciplinary actions
- Conflict resolution
- Across multiple business units in EMEA

Develop and drive ER strategy for ambiguous or cross-functional organisational challenges, ensuring clarity and structure in problem-solving.

Serve as a strategic advisor to:
- HR business partners
- Legal counsel
- Business leaders On matters such as:
- Policy interpretation
- Risk assessment
- Resolution approaches

Identify systemic trends in ER case data and translate these into proactive programs, policy improvements, or leadership coaching interventions.

Build and maintain influential stakeholder relationships across:
- HR
- Legal
- Compliance
- People Operations
- Business Leadership To ensure ER practices align with organisational goals.

Develop scalable frameworks, tools, and resources to support consistent ER application across teams and geographies.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners for business restructuring, workforce changes, and evolving regulatory environments.

Leverage AI-integrated workflows and data analysis to improve ER function efficiency.

Lead with integrity and foster a collaborative internal community, mentoring newer ER and HR team members.
Minimum Qualifications
-
12+ years of experience in:
- Employee Relations
- Employment Law
- Human Resources
- Or a relevant field

Experience leading:
- High-complexity cross-functional ER programs or initiatives
- With measurable organisational impact

Experience:
- Advising and influencing senior leaders
- Legal partners on sensitive workplace matters
- Policy application
- Risk mitigation

Experience developing:
- Scalable ER frameworks
- Investigation methodologies
- Policy governance processes Across large or matrixed organisations

Experience identifying systemic workforce trends and translating data into strategic recommendations for people programs or organisational decisions

Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Demonstrated ability to:
- Adapt to evolving organisational priorities
- Build collaborative relationships across teams
- Consult and coach effectively with stakeholders to:
- Clarify objectives
- Diagnose underlying issues
- Define outcome-focused solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating in a global or multi-jurisdictional ER capacity, ideally including:
- UK, Ireland, France, and Germany
- Navigating varying employment laws

- Drive operational efficiency

Experience:
- Partnering with labour relations teams
- Managing work councils and union-related matters In a technology or large-scale enterprise environment

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development such as:
- Prompt/context engineering
- Agent orchestration Staying current with emerging AI technologies

Ability to:
- Integrate AI tools to optimise/redesign workflows
- Drive measurable impact including:
- Efficiency gains
- Quality improvements

Experience adhering to responsible, ethical AI practices, such as:
- Risk assessment
- Bias mitigation
- Quality and accuracy reviews
