Employee Relations Lead

We’re reinventing payments.

In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.

Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.

But we’re just getting started.

Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The role

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Employee Relations Lead to join our team and help shape our approach to managing employee relations. Acting as a central resource, you will manage employee relations cases and collaborate closely with the People and Legal teams. This role is integral to operationalising our employee relations strategy by providing key data and analytics, identifying trends, and supporting strategic business initiatives.

What you will do...

  • Act as the central owner for ER cases, including grievance, disciplinary, and absence management, ensuring effective management and resolution in line with company policies.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret ER data to identify trends, guide business initiatives, and translate insights into actions that improve the employee experience.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of ER policies, upskilling resources, and training materials to build leadership capability in handling ER issues confidently.
  • Partner closely with the People team and Legal on case escalations, settlement agreements, and other employment law matters.
  • Assist the Senior People Partner in delivering an employee relations strategy that balances fairness, consistency, and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop and provide employment law updates to the People team to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
