Role Description

The Employee Relations Manager is a full-time, Hybrid role based in Milton Keynes. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day employee relations activities, including handling workplace concerns, supporting conflict resolution, and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment. The Employee Relations Manager will advise on HR policies, oversee performance management processes, and partner with leaders to increase employee engagement and retention. Typical tasks include:

Qualifications

  • Strong Employee Relations and Employee Engagement skills to foster a positive and collaborative workplace.
  • Solid knowledge of HR Policies and Performance Management to support consistent, fair, and transparent people practices.
  • Thorough understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills to manage sensitive issues effectively and confidentially.
  • Proven experience in an HR or Employee Relations role, ideally within a fast-paced or tech-focused environment.
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field; professional HR certification is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform recommendations and decisions.
