HAIL Partners is working with a leading European Private Equity firm who are seeking a VP-level ER & HR Governance Specialist to join their London team. The remit spans across several European locations, and is a broad, senior-facing role. Equal parts governance architecture and hands-on ER casework, sitting close to the firm's most senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Own HR governance frameworks including policy, compliance, audit trails, risk registers, board-level reporting
- Lead complex, sensitive ER casework end-to-end, including tribunal representation where needed
- Act as principal adviser to managers and senior leaders on the full ER spectrum
- Draft settlement agreements and formal casework documentation
- Coach and upskill line managers and the wider HR team on ER best practice

Role Requirements:
- Proven HR governance and/or ER experience, ideally from a comparable financial or professional services environment
- Strong technical grounding in employment law, ideally with multi-jurisdiction exposure across Europe
- Track record handling high-risk, sensitive ER cases from inception to resolution
- Confident operating at senior stakeholder level.
- Commercially minded, discreet, resilient
