Employee Relations Officer
Location: NHS Western Isles Band: 6 Salary: £43,231 - £52,679 per annum plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum Hours: 36 per week Post Type: Permanent (x2 vacancies)

Make a Difference Where It Matters Most
As an Employee Relations Officer, you’ll support NHS Western Isles in creating a fair, inclusive, and supportive working environment. You’ll provide expert guidance to managers and staff, resolving employee relations issues and promoting best practice.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver professional advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law
- Assist with casework related to attendance, conduct, and performance
- Handle and contribute to complex employee relations matters
- Champion best practice and organisational values
- Support a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion

What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Proven experience in employee relations casework
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- A proactive, compassionate, and solution-focused mindset
- Postgraduate CIPD qualification (highly desirable)
