Ref: 23453 Status: 3 months temporary agency worker (PAYE) Salary: £35–£38 per hour (~£68,250–£76,000 per annum) Hours: Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30
An international Entertainment company is seeking a temporary Employment Relations Partner to support strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with People Experience Consultants, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and Legal to refine and deliver change management initiatives
- Assist HRBPs and business leaders with restructuring, redeployment, and redundancy matters
- Build strong relationships with HR teams, business leaders, and Legal partners
- Partner with HR and business leaders to design proactive, positive employee relations experiences
- Balance individual staff needs with organisational objectives while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
- Strategise and work closely with Legal on complex/high-risk cases
- Ensure UK and Irish employment legislation and policies align with internal processes
- Provide reporting and analysis on employee relations (ER) matters
- Maintain detailed records, including investigation notes, supporting documentation, and final reports
- Conduct prompt, thorough investigations into sensitive ER issues, offering evidence-based recommendations
- Review and update Conduct, Disciplinary, Grievance, and Performance Procedure policies
- Partner with colleagues to communicate and educate on policies, procedures, and compliance
- Support case tracking systems to provide meaningful insights for early intervention on performance issues
- Identify data-driven trends and propose improvements
- Promote a continuous improvement culture for scalable, standardised processes
- Contribute to team projects as needed

Requirements
- Degree in Employment Law or HR
- Experience in a global, matrix organisation (preferably complex)
- Prior ER specialist role
- Proven track record in supporting change management initiatives
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
- Strong ability to handle sensitive, complex situations with confidentiality and sound judgment
- Bonus: Experience in Media/Entertainment industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
