Equilibrium Healthcare is currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR Team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting line managers by offering professional and pragmatic support and advice on Employee related issues
- Managing ER cases from initial consultation to end resolution in a timely manner
- Supporting line managers with disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and other ER related processes
- Preparing meeting and hearing documentation, invite and outcome letters
- Identifying potential legal and business risks and providing practical recommendations to mitigate these
- Maintaining accurate case records and recording all activity on our HR System
- Keeping up to date with employment law developments and ensuring policies and practices reflect current legislation and best practice
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an experienced ER professional with a proven track record
- Be CIPD qualified to a minimum level 3
- Have experience of working within a multi-site organisation
- Have up to date and working knowledge of employment law and best practice guidance
- Have the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Be able to respond effectively to planned and un-planned work priorities
- Prior experience of the healthcare sector would be desirable, but not essential.

Summary:
- 40 hours per week (hybrid working, the successful candidate will be willing to travel frequently between all Manchester based sites and must have access to own transport to enable this).
- £34,000 to £36,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
