Part-time (3 days per week)
Travel across UK sites (initial focus: St Helens and Featherstone)
Are you passionate about workplace wellbeing and confident on a factory floor as well as in a meeting room? We are creating a brand-new role at Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) — and we are looking for someone who can shape it with us.
Purpose Of The Job
The Employee Wellbeing Partner supports the development of a proactive, practical wellbeing approach across our UK operations. The role focuses on improving overall employee wellbeing by identifying themes, raising awareness, and supporting the delivery of initiatives that contribute to a positive and sustainable workplace culture. Working closely with HR and HSE, the Employee Wellbeing Partner acts as a subject matter expert and enabler — complementing existing functions and bringing wellbeing to life where it matters most: on site, with our people.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of a wellbeing approach across UK sites, initially focusing on St Helens and Featherstone
- Identify key wellbeing themes and trends across sites (e.g. absence patterns, engagement, fatigue), providing insight to HR and leadership teams
- Design and deliver practical wellbeing initiatives (e.g. awareness sessions, campaigns, employee engagement activities) tailored to site needs
- Work closely with HR to support wellbeing-related topics, providing expertise, ideas and content to strengthen existing initiatives
- Collaborate with HSE and other functions where relevant, while ensuring clear boundaries of responsibility
- Engage directly with employees on site to raise awareness and encourage participation in wellbeing initiatives
- Support the organisation of wellbeing events, workshops and campaigns, ensuring visibility and uptake
- Liaise with external providers (e.g. occupational health, wellbeing partners) where required
- Stay informed on best practices and bring practical, relevant ideas into the business

Functional Knowledge And Skills
- Sound understanding of workplace wellbeing, health promotion or related practice, and how it applies in an operational environment
- Ability to translate wellbeing ideas into simple, effective, site-appropriate initiatives
- Awareness of data and trends, with the ability to identify areas of focus and provide meaningful insight
- Understanding of the boundaries between wellbeing support and clinical services (occupational health, EAP), and confidence in signposting appropriately
Educational Requirements/qualifications And Experience
- Relevant background in wellbeing, health promotion, psychology, occupational health or a related field
- Experience in a site-based or operational environment (manufacturing experience advantageous)
- Experience designing or delivering employee-facing initiatives, events or campaigns
- Full UK driving licence (regular travel between UK sites is part of the role)
