About the Role

Now, we’re recruiting for an Associate Director in Share Plans & Reward within our Employer Solutions team. This role offers the flexibility to choose your preferred RSM office location, overseeing a national team that delivers customised solutions to a diverse range of clients. You’ll lead share plan structuring, tax advice, and implementation support—working directly with clients, mentoring junior colleagues, and driving strategic capability.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and incentive objectives.
- Design and refine employee incentive schemes, ensuring they align with strategic goals.

Tax & Legal Expertise
- Advise on tax implications of share plans during implementation and ongoing operations.
- Provide support post-transaction, ensuring compliance and optimisation.
- (Note: Minimum prior experience in legal documentation preparation is flexible.)

Implementation & Support
- Coordinate share plan rollouts, including drafting necessary legal documentation.
- Advise on share valuation for tax purposes.
- (Note: Prior experience in share valuation/legal drafting is not mandatory.)

Team Development & Leadership
- Strengthen internal skills, identify team strengths, and align capabilities with client demands.
- Advise global RSM teams on intricate international share incentive structures.

Mentorship & Training
- Initiate junior teams with client insights and project directives.
- Supervise workflows, conduct training, and provide real-time feedback and appraisals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Are you someone who loves continuous learning, thrives in varied environments, and connects with colleagues and clients easily? Do you challenge the status quo to foster access and efficiency? If you’re:
✔ Trained in Share Plans / Rewards within a top-tier accountancy, law firm, or consultancy. ✔ A professional qualifications holder (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA) or classified equivalently. ✔ Proven ability in client relations and project management. ✔ Adept at producing high-quality, bespoke work for discerning clients. ✔ Brimming with enhanced communication and emotional intelligence.
