Employment Advisor
Employment Advisor (Restart Advisor Role)
Salary & Location
£31,930 per annum Tower Hamlets
Are you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As a Restart Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals to unlock their potential, take steps toward sustainable employment, and address complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and secure meaningful employment.
- Exceed performance targets by refining strategies using participant feedback to deliver tailored outcomes for individuals and communities.
- Direct participants to internal and external services (e.g., debt management, mental health support, career coaching) based on their needs.
- Develop professional CVs, supporting statements, and cover letters to enhance job search readiness.
- Prepare candidates for interviews via mock drills and confidence-building exercises.
- Maintain accurate electronic participant records, ensuring timely, high-quality documentation across coaching-to-placement support.

Requirements
- Proven experience in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to reach their full potential.
- Strong track record of exceeding performance targets while fostering personal growth and mindset transformation.
- Exceptional communication skills: adaptable, resilient, and creative to meet diverse participant needs—including collaboration with employers and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to solve complex challenges and establish trust in dynamic settings.
- Recent (past 3 months) experience in a relevant sector (e.g., employment support, social work).
- High-level digital literacy and exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities and caseloads efficiently.
