This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Employment & Partnerships team at a leading London law firm. Are you an Employment Solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE looking to step into a broad, high-quality practice advising both corporates and senior individuals? This role offers a strong platform for long-term career development within a respected and collaborative team.

You will gain exposure to high-calibre work across contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with experienced Partners on complex, strategically important instructions.

The Firm

Handling high-profile deals such as multimillion-pound UK let industrial platform and Central London property acquisitions for major commercial names.

They deal with the same quality of work as much larger City firms without all the disadvantages associated with being a small cog in a big machine. Lawyers of all levels can get involved with business development, and it is common for fee earners at this firm to gain such a level of exposure they gain experience beyond their years of PQE.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
