- A commercially minded employment lawyers and human resources professionals practice.
- Based in Manchester, with national clients.
- Regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Senior Employment Lawyer
Watershed is looking for a Senior Employment Lawyer to handle:

Helping to grow and develop our services in employment law:
- Maximising opportunities
- Developing long-term, fruitful relationships with new and existing clients
-
Advising daily on a wide range of matters, both routine and complex, which may be:
- Contentious or non-contentious
- Covering all aspects of employment law

Representing clients at employment tribunals and employment appeal tribunals, including carrying out any advocacy.

Advising on and often participating in:
- Complex collective redundancies
- Collective bargaining
- Large-scale changes to terms and conditions
- Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) transfers.

Working on and managing a range of clients' projects, including:
- Project management.
- Handling day-to-day employment matters.

Building and sustaining relationships and developing new accounts, providing:
- Innovative solutions
- Competitive ideas on:
- Employment law services
- Technology approaches
- Methodology
About You
You’ll need:

Experience in employment law, with a proven track record of working with:
- Large private sector businesses

5+ years’ Post-Qualified Experience in a fees-based professional firm

Solid technical competence in employment law.

The confidence to credibly advise:
- Senior managers within large organisations.
