A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor to join its growing team.

This is an opportunity to join a firm with an excellent reputation for quality legal work and client service, offering the chance to build a long-term career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Employment team works across a varied caseload for both regional and national clients, with a strong focus on developing its people through mentoring, training, and knowledge-sharing. You will be joining an experienced team where you can take ownership of your own work while continuing to develop your expertise.

The Role

The position is predominantly claimant-focused, with some respondent work, covering a range of Employment matters from initial advice and negotiation through to Employment Tribunal litigation.

  • Handle your own caseload
  • Advise on matters including unfair dismissal and discrimination
  • Prepare key Tribunal documentation and attend hearings where required
  • Contribute to the wider development of the team through client relationships and business development activity

The firm is open-minded on experience and will consider Employment professionals at different levels. The key is strong claimant-focused experience, confidence managing your own caseload, and a genuine interest in continuing to develop within Employment Law.
