Location: London Local Authority
Type: Permanent Contract
Salary: £46,563 to £62,349
Work Arrangement: Hybrid Working (Home & Harrow base, or at client offices if required)
Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working alongside a reputable London authority to recruit an Employment Lawyer to join their Employment, Education and Adults social care team.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to undertake varied, high-quality work with likeminded and supportive colleagues, committed to public service and excellent client care.
About the Role
The Employment Lawyer will:
- Carry a full caseload of employment law matters
- Provide legal advice and handle Employment Tribunal claims
- Conduct work relating to education law (potential opportunity)
- Advise and represent four local authorities as well as schools on legal files

The ideal candidate will have: ✔ Substantial experience in Employment Law ✔ Ability to "pick up a caseload from the outset"
Less-experienced applicants with strong client care skills and the right attitude will also be considered.
Requirements
Your qualifications and attributes must include:
- Be a qualified lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX with Advocacy Rights) with a current practising certificate
- Be able to work on a hybrid basis (home & Harrow base, or at client offices if required)
- Commit to full-time hours (flexibility considered for four days per week where possible)
