Join Our Employment Team as a Legal Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and professional Legal Advisor to join our busy Employment Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for employment law and delivering outstanding client service. You will be responsible for providing preliminary employment law advice, managing client interactions, and supporting the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide preliminary advice on a range of employment law matters.
  • Deliver general legal advice in line with your experience and capability.
  • Communicate with clients primarily via telephone and email.
  • Accurately input and maintain client data within internal systems.
  • Keep the case management system updated and maintained.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in line with service level agreements and audit requirements.
  • Handle all inbound and outbound calls professionally and in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Work effectively to meet strict deadlines and service expectations.
  • Undertake general administrative duties as required.
  • Support the smooth running of the Employment Team by carrying out additional tasks when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) requirements and data protection legislation.
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and client-care skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Professional telephone manner and attention to detail.
  • Previous legal advisory experience, particularly within employment law, would be advantageous.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding client service and maintaining compliance standards.
