Salary: £28,142 - £32,061 Per annum
Position Type: Permanent | Full Time - 37 hours per week
International Sponsorship: This role is not open to international sponsorship
About the Role
We have an exciting role of Employment Officer within the Virtual School's Employment Support team. This role will join an experienced existing team of Employment Officers supporting care experienced young people aged 12-25 across Lancashire into education, employment, or training. Experience of delivering careers advice will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Work with an experienced team supporting care experienced young people aged 12-25.
- Deliver Careers, Education, Information and Guidance within schools from Year 8 - 11.
- Support 16–24-year-olds into employability with supportive employers.
- Travel across Lancashire meeting young people, partners, schools, and businesses to meet outcomes.

Requirements
- Proven experience of working with a caseload.
- Knowledge of the needs of children from a care background.
- Careers Level 6 qualification is advantageous, but training will be given for candidates not holding this qualification.
