The Town of Troy is accepting applications for the part-time position of Public Works General Laborer. The primary duties for this part-time position (20 hours per week) include (but are not limited to) assisting with weekly debris pick-up, building and grounds maintenance, curbing and guttering.
Education, Training, Experience and Qualifications: This position’s required experience would include the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle, lawn maintenance equipment (including but not limited to: mowers, chain saws, weed eaters), small hand tools, and the ability to drive dump trucks.
Special Requirements: Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license, the ability to lift objects of at least 50 pounds, and have the ability to begin work no later than April 19th, 2021.
