About the Role: Employment Pathways Coach
Position Type: Full-time, work-from-home, with regular community travel
As an Employment Pathways Coach, your mission is to:
- Support individuals to build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to achieve their employment goals.
- Work with NDIS employment support participants to provide person-centred guidance.
- Collaborate in developing, implementing, and reviewing individualised employment pathways tailored to each person’s strengths, interests, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Support Participants:
- Provide person-centred support based on their needs, preferences, and funding.
- Help participants increase work readiness through skill-building, work experience, and decision-making support.
- Identify and address other challenges (e.g., health, mental health, housing) that may impact employment.

Build Partnerships:
- Strengthen relationships with employers, training providers, and community organisations to create opportunities.
- Connect school-to-employment transitions for better outcomes.

Team Culture:
- Contribute to a positive team culture while delivering high-quality services.

Travel & Engagement:
- Attend in-person appointments, community activities, and workplace visits to facilitate participant progress.
Required Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you must:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Social & Community Services (or equivalent).
- Possess a current driver’s licence.
- Have case management experience working with young people with disability.
- Demonstrate strong community and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems (or willing to learning quickly).

- NDIS Workers’ Clearance Check
- Where applicable, a Working with Children Check
