Employment Solicitor – 0–4 Years' PQE – Newcastle

Salary £45,000 - £55,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 0–4 years' PQE to join a highly regarded Employment team. This role is ideal for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a commercially focused environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of employment matters while working alongside experienced lawyers in a supportive and collaborative team.
You will have the opportunity to work with a varied client base, advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, while continuing to build your technical expertise and client relationships.

The Role
You will support clients across a wide range of employment matters, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising employer clients on day-to-day employment matters
- Supporting corporate transactions and employment-related projects
- Assisting with restructures, reorganisations, and strategic employment advice
- Managing and progressing employment tribunal claims
- Advising on workplace issues, contracts, policies, and HR matters
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex employment projects
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and advice notes
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent service
- Contributing to business development and networking initiatives

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Employment Solicitor with 0–4 years' PQE
- Experience dealing with employment law matters
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing within employment law
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Interest in business development and developing client relationships
