The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Employment Solicitor or Partner to join an award-winning law firm and play a key role in the continued growth of its highly regarded Employment team. Advising a diverse client base of businesses and individuals, you will manage a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including discrimination and unfair dismissal claims, employment tribunal litigation, settlement agreements, disciplinary and grievance procedures, contracts of employment, policies, and HR advisory work. You will also advise on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE issues arising from share and asset sales, working closely with the firm's corporate and commercial team. This is a strategic appointment offering genuine responsibility for business development, client relationship management, and the continued expansion of the employment department.

The Candidate
Applications are sought from Senior Employment Solicitors with at least 5 years' PQE as well as Partners with a proven track record of advising on a broad range of employment law matters for both employer and employee clients. You will possess exceptional technical expertise together with strong commercial awareness and a demonstrable ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships. Experience of business development and networking will be essential, and candidates with an existing client following or an established network of contacts will be particularly attractive. The successful candidate will be an ambitious and collaborative Lawyer with the ability to lead complex matters, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing success and strategic direction of the employment team.
