We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Employment Solicitor who combines strong technical expertise with commercial instinct, leadership potential, and a genuine interest in helping grow a successful practice.
The role
This is a full-time Employment Solicitor role, suitable for a solicitor with approximately 7+ years’ PQE, based at our Northampton office. You will advise a diverse client base, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, larger organisations, and senior individuals, on a wide range of employment law matters.

- You will be confident managing your own caseload, providing clear and commercially focused advice, supporting junior colleagues, and playing a key role in the next phase of growth for the team.

What we are looking for
- Approximately 7+ years’ PQE with strong experience advising on employment law matters for businesses and senior individuals.
- Excellent technical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver practical, commercially focused advice.
- Confidence managing a varied caseload independently, while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with a willingness to build relationships, identify opportunities, and support the continued growth of the practice.
- Strong communication, analytical, and drafting skills, with excellent attention to detail and a client-focused style.
- An interest in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues as the team continues to develop.
