Employment Solicitor, NQ+, Greater Manchester - Develop Your Employment Law Career with a Firm That Invests in Your Success

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified or recently qualified Employment Solicitor to join a well-established and growing employment team in Greater Manchester.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop their expertise across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Working with both businesses and individuals across a variety of sectors, you'll enjoy high-quality work, excellent client exposure and the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

The Role

You will manage a varied employment law caseload, advising clients on a wide range of workplace issues while delivering practical, commercially focused solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures.
  • Supporting clients with disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Advising on redundancy and TUPE issues.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and related matters.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to provide a seamless client service.
  • Building strong client relationships through responsive, high-quality legal advice.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors who can demonstrate:

  • Newly Qualified status or above with experience in employment law.
  • Experience of handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge combined with sound commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
