Employment Solicitor (Partner) – 8+ years PQE, Essex
An established law firm is looking to expand and develop their employment offering with the appointment of an experienced Employment Solicitor who is looking for an opportunity to lead and shape a department!
JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor (Partner) PQE: 8+ years PQE LOCATION: Essex SALARY: Circa £75k - £95k
THE ROLE:
- Managing a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees.
- Advising on Employment Tribunal claims, redundancy and restructuring, employment contracts, policies and handbooks, settlement agreements and disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Playing a key role in the firm’s continued growth and possess the ability to take ownership of a department across the firm’s offices.
- Occasional travel to the other offices.
- In addition to fee earning, undertaking business development, networking and building lasting relationships.

THE CANDIDATE:
- At least 8 years PQE in dealing with the broad spectrum of employment law including acting for both employers and employees.
- Possess the ability to deal with complex matters.
- Desire to lead and build and lead a successful employment department.
THE FIRM:
- Offering a supportive and collaborative culture.
- Opportunity to genuinely lead and shape the employment department of this established East Anglia based practice.
- Salary will be dependent on experience.
