Employment Solicitor Devon Hybrid Working Available

The Opportunity

A well-established and growing law firm in Devon is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its successful Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of employer clients, from SMEs to larger national businesses, advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

The Role

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Advising employers on day-to-day employment law and HR matters
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Managing disciplinary, grievance, and redundancy issues
  • Advising on TUPE transfers and restructures
  • Negotiating settlement agreements
  • Defending Employment Tribunal claims
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development and networking activities

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Around 2-4 years PQE (guideline only)
  • Strong employment law experience acting for employers
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Commercially minded and solutions-focused
  • Able to manage a varied caseload independently
