Employment Solicitor
Your new firm

The Employment team is widely recognised for its ability to advise both employers and employees on complex workplace issues, and for its commitment to providing strategic, pragmatic guidance. Known for its collaborative culture, strong technical standards, and client-centric approach, the firm continues to grow its presence both regionally and nationally.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a high-performing team and work alongside experienced Partners who are well regarded in the employment law arena.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Gain exposure to a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious work
- Provide advice on:
- Employment contracts
- Workplace policies
- Corporate support matters
- TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Regulations)
- Workplace disputes
- Employment litigation
- Handle employment issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing
- Support clients through employee disputes within the Employment Tribunal process
- Conduct advocacy where appropriate
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship building
- Mentor junior team members as required

As you progress, you will:
- Take ownership of a growing caseload
- Lead specific matters and projects independently
Required Experience & Skills
Successful candidates should:
- Have solid experience in an established employment law team
- Exhibit strong client care skills and proven relationship-building capabilities
- Demonstrate excellent written/verbal communication, commercial awareness, and an organised approach to workload management
- Display confidence in handling contentious and advisory work
- Show interest in supporting the team’s growth and development
